Tracy Marks Seglin
Communications Counsel

Tracy earned her B.A. with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She went on to serve as editor/program coordinator at Zonta International, a service organization of executive women around the world. At Willow Resources, a small organizational development consultancy, she assisted with strategic planning, program development, and training for dozens of area not-for-profit organizations. She also developed and helped implement the consultancy’s marketing plan.  

Prior to establishing her own consultancy, she served several years as communications manager at the Museum of Science and Industry where she oversaw production of more than 400 communication vehicles per year, and worked across departments to maintain quality and consistency in all Museum communications.

In her 20+ years as a communication consultant, Tracy has created fundraising and marketing materials dozens of nonprofit/social service organizations such as Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago, Erie Family Health, Friends of the Children-Chicago, Family Christian Health Center, Impact Behavioral Health, Teen Living Programs, and Christopher House, among many others. Her work with cultural and academic institutions includes: the Museum of Science and Industry, The Field Museum, the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, and Chicago Zoological Society; Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and Pritzker School of Law, Northern Illinois University, Aurora University, and Elmhurst College. Tracy joined the Alexander Ross Group in 2012.
